Fit was perfect, will be wearing a denim short jacket with it to have a casual dress look. The length was a bit long, for me, so I will hem a couple inches before wearing. I bought it in a queen size and it fits perfectly in all places. I am 5'5\" & 180 to 185 lbs. I will definitely keep this dress & am excited to wear it to a wedding next month. The waist area is meant to be spacious, and when I tried on the plus size, it already was. The XL in particular is already roomy, but it's held in place with a cute belt. Without the belt, it would look pregnant on me. Someone in better shape than me might be able to pull it off without a belt, but a belt is definitely a nice finishing touch. Add to that a pair of exposed toe & heel ankle boots, and an ankle boot that matches the waistband is adorable. The ruffles are lovely.
